Bukedde's Phoebe K introduces partner to parents

On April 27, Bukedde TV presenter Phoebe Kukkiriza  aka Phoebe K introduced her longterm lover, Juma Nzorah, at her parents’ home in Nazigo-Nateta, Kayunga district following a colorful kukyala ceremony in January.

The introduction ceremony was attended by family and friends.

Among the guests who escorted Pheobe K were singer Mary Bata and women's rights activist Kulthum Nabunya.

During the kabbo ka muwala session, where the groom gives the bride edible gifts such as oranges and apples in a basket, Phoebe expressed gratitude to her husband for showing up and not disappointing her on their big day.

“I give you these gifts to show you how much I love you and I request you to feed on them until our wedding day," Nzorah said.

Phoebe’s husband announced their wedding date during the kabbo ka muwala, saying it will take place on May 11, 2024.

Phoebe came to the limelight as a kadama, which is a loose reference to a Ugandan housemaid in the the Middle East with the help of TikTok where she used to do funny skits.

In 2022, she scooped a job on Urban TV's Fun Plus as a presenter. Currently, she is a  presenter on Bukedde TV1.
