If ever the rumour that the Blu 3 divas - Jackie Chandiru, Lillian Mbabazi and Cindy Sanyu - had a bone to pick which each other, was true, that just got watered down last week. 

The three, for the first since their last released song in 2008, were seen in studio at Producer Artin's Axtra Nation production house. 

Ahead of their reunion concert slated for June 22, the Blu 3 are in studio to record new music, some of which is scheduled to be released before the concert. 

In the studio session videos released by the group via Talent Africa, on May 5, the mood among the girls was almost tear-jerking, especially for long-time Blu 3 fans. 

The highlight of the recording sessions was how Chandiru struggled with pronouncing and translating some Luganda words to English, evoking outbursts of laughter from Cindy and Mbabazi. 

As Cindy voiced a line from one of the songs they are recording, it was easy for one to reminisce on the good-old Blu 3 sound. The girls, too, especially Chandiru, could not hide their excitement to be in the same musical space, recording music once again. 

"On behalf of Blu 3, I can't express enough gratitude for the overwhelming support from our fans. Your enthusiasm, prayers, and love fuels our passion, and we can’t wait to serve you with fresh sound, and share the stage once again. Together. It has been 16 years. About time we made his happen,” Chandiru said in a press statement, released afterwards.

Blu 3's reunion concert will take place at Sheraton Kampala Hotel, with revellers having to part with sh50,000, sh100,000 for bronze and silver tickets. The tables will cost between sh3m and sh10m.
