Ugandan music icon Bebe Cool officially handed over a fully furnished, newly constructed home to Bridgette Mirembe Namiyigo, the five-year-old TikTok sensation whose charm and gospel skits stole hearts across Uganda.

The emotional ceremony took place in Kyeguluuso village, Mubende District, where hundreds of residents, local leaders, and well-wishers gathered to witness what many called “a miracle in real life.”

Bridgette, along with her mother and younger sibling Ruth, had been living in a crumbling, semi-detached house one she jokingly referred to as “Geyeena” (hell) in her viral skits. But all that is now history.

Thanks to Bebe Cool’s charitable initiative, the family now lives in a modern three-bedroom home, situated on a 100-by-100ft plot of land, complete with domestic essentials: a master bed, children’s beds for eight, 10 mattresses, a sofa set, a center table, and full bedding.

“Giving back has always been my passion,” Bebe Cool shared. “When I saw Bridgette preaching the gospel on TikTok, I felt compelled to be part of her story. She may be young, but her spirit is powerful.”

This act of generosity stemmed from a heartfelt pledge Bebe Cool made during his October 2024 announcement, when he revealed that proceeds from his annual Tondeka E Kiwatule Boxing Day concert would fund the construction of a house for Bridgette’s family.

In fact, the name of the concert was changed to reflect the mission,“Tondeka E Kiwatule Tuzimbire Bridgette Enyumba.”

The initiative was coordinated through The Amber Heart Foundation, Bebe Cool’s long-standing charity arm, in partnership with Century Property Real Estates Uganda Limited, Erianah Hardware Mubende, and DT Solar.

Construction officially began on January 3, 2025, and over the following months, fans and corporate sponsors rallied to support the cause.

Speaking at the handover, Pastor Everest Arinaitwe of Prayer Valley Ministry, who represented Bridgette’s family, praised the singer’s generosity.

“We thank Bebe Cool for his golden heart. He hasn’t just given Bridgette a house he’s given her dignity, security, and a future,” said the pastor. “He’s given the entire village hope.”

Bebe Cool, surrounded by smiling villagers and partners, was visibly emotional.

“This achievement shows that every small act counts. I thank everyone who contributed. May Allah bless you for helping change Bridgette’s life,” he said.

Beyond his music, Bebe Cool (Moses Ssali) has carved a respected space as a social impact advocate. He has championed causes ranging from HIV/AIDS awareness to tuberculosis prevention, and participated in the 46664 Mandela initiative for global justice.

For Bridgette and her family, the house is more than brick and mortar it’s a symbol of love, hope, and transformation. It marks a fresh start, away from the hardship and uncertainty of their past home.
