Bayanni, Magixx, Boy Spyce to headline Eastside tour in Kampala

Although the names Bayanni, Magixx, and Boy Spyce may not ring a bell as loud as, say, Ruger, Rema, or Tems, their music is undoubtedly very popular in Uganda.

On April 5, the Eastside tour will cross over to Uganda, for the first time, and to headline the maiden edition, Nigerian stars Bayanni, Magixx, and Boy Spyce will grace the stage, at Ndere Centre, Ntinda, to excite their Ugandan fans.

It has been a minute, since Kampala revellers last got thrilled by a Nigerian artist on stage, especially considering the frequency at which a plethora of them (Nigerian musicians) had started flocking Uganda, in recent years.

To quench the thirst, therefore, this trio is going to feed off nostalgia.

Magixx will be in Uganda.

From Bayanni's Ta Ta TaCasanovaGoddessBody, to Magixx's All Over, Love Dont Cost A Dime, to Boy Spyce's YouNobody, and Relationship, Kampala partygoers, especially the Gen-Zs, can sing word for word to most of their songs.

This event, according to its organizers, is designed, not only to highlight the diverse skills and creativity of individuals, but also to foster connections and collaborations among Nigerian and local musicians.
