While some view Bebe Cool's annual musical list as a mere strategy to stay relevant in the Ugandan music industry, others see it as a significant accomplishment.
Ivan Bugembe Sentamu, also known as Dax Vibez, the younger brother of Bebe's nemesis, singer/politcian Bobi Wine, expressed pride in being featured on Bebe Cool's renowned lend-of-year list.
During a recent interview, Dax said despite the ongoing musical rivalry between Bobi Wine and Bebe Cool, he felt happy and grateful for the recognition.
"I felt good when he praised me initially, although he later made harsh comments about my family. Regardless, he acknowledged my talent and inclusion on his list, which meant a lot to me," shared Dax Vibez.
Vibez was recognised for his hit song Believe with Vinka, which was one of the biggest songs in Uganda during the evening of 2023.
Despite his delight, he humorously mentioned that he was anticipating the house Bebe Coo had promised to award to each artiste on his list.
