"When  I insisted that it's him I wanted, not Champion Gudo, he ordered me to do a collaboration with Chosen K, who was also a rising artiste," he said.

Musician Fik Gaza has accused his colleague Alien Skin of blocking artistes under his Fangone Forest music label from prospering.
This was after Alien's former manager - Chosen K - also made similar allegations.

Gaza (Shafik Dangote) claimed that Alien, real name Patrick Mulwana, stifles the talents of other rising artistes who are under his music label.

He said the Sitya Danger singer does not want them to develop musically, fearing competition.

Gaza said he witnessed it himself when he was a member of Fangone Forest.

How Gaza met Alien Skin
The two met during the COVID-19 season.

"Alien Skin came looking for me when he wanted my support in the ghetto as its leader and we all welcomed and supported him. He promised us a lot of good things, saying he would not leave us in the ghetto when he becomes big. We, therefore, pushed his music on all platforms as ghetto youth," Gaza said.

He said after Alien became big, he asked him to join Fangone Forest in Makindye, a city suburb.

"I started living with him at Fangone Forest. I went there to get skills and promotion. I, thus, expected his guidance, which I never got. He always stopped me from releasing new music. He instead wanted to release his own songs. Whenever I requested him to give me a collabo song, he would refuse," Gaza said.

Gaza lamented that instead of a collabo with him, Alien would instead refer him to his child prodigy, Champion Gudo, "which was a sign of disrespect."

"When  I insisted that it's him I wanted, not Champion Gudo, he ordered me to do a collaboration with Chosen K, who was also a rising artiste," he said.

Gaza was adamant that it was Alien he wanted, but he started "lying to me all the time, fooling me around, saying he would give me a collabo."

"Alien once told me that I am his ground promoter whose work is to move his music on flash disk since television and radio stations were not airing his music due to its quality and content," Gaza said.

A frustrated Gaza decided to leave Fangone and start his own music label - Gaza Empire.

He said Alien is also now stepping on the talent of Champion Gudo, stopping him from making new songs. Champion Gudo has made a number of songs under Alien, including Tuli Babi and Jobless Billionaire.

"Gudo has no bookings. He would be having  a lot of bookings now because he has a lot of favour among people," Gaza said

He continued to bash Alien, insisting that he has no competitive songs to have bookings.

Gaza went on and urged Alien Skin to stop listing himself among the top ten musicians, saying he does not qualify.

"He has never made even one artiste from his forest. He has made all artistes under his forest failures. That he does not want any competitor in Fangone Forest," he stated.

To note, Alien helped to resurrect the career of faded singer Clever J after he gave him a collabo, Binyuma. Clever J, who is not under Fangone, later held a successful concert at Lugogo KCCA Grounds in August 2023.

"How could he call himself top 10 when he has never made any artiste in his empire? He should respect the word top ten," Gaza said.

Gaza happy Alien is denied a US visa
During an interview on Thursday May 30, 2024, Fik Gaza expressed happiness after Alien was denied a visa to go and perform in the US.

This was after Ugandans living in the US took to social media to raise cases of misconduct against him. They protested against Alien Skin mixing with their community, while others wrote letters to the Ugandan Embassy complaining of his visit and their voices were heard.

All Alien Skin’s shows at which he was supposed to perform in London on Sunday, June 2, were consequently put on hold.

"Alien should be a well-wisher. He will be blessed more than today. I think he has tested it now as he has been stopped from performing in London," Gaza said.

What Alien Skin says
On Friday May 31, we talked to Alien Skin to respond to the accusations.

“I made my name without the help of any other person, so Gaza should fight as a man because no one will help him other than himself. I brought him close and it’s the reason he got the idea to become an artiste. It means he picked the skills from Fangone Forest. Such an experience is gained starting from the day you start looking at the thing, but not from the time you start doing it. Gaza should reduce on his excitement of pretending to know much about me. Instead of talking too much, Gaza  should give time to studios and do good music that people are interested in instead of bluutng out words. Talking too many words may not qualify him to be an artiste, but songs can. He should first make at least two single hit songs then he will the have moral authority to talk about music and its partners. I have very little time to waste on that upcoming artiste," said Alien Skin.
