UCU unveils new graduation gowns, bars indecent parents

During the unveiling ceremony on Wednesday (October 23, 2024), university deputy vice-chancellor (academics), Prof. John Kitayimbwa, announced that the new gowns mark the end of what he called the “colonial era” of black gowns.
