The Senior One and Senior Five selection exercise got underway on Tuesday, with education minister and First Lady Janet Museveni opening it.

The selection exercise for the Senior One and Senior Five students today (Wednesday) enters its second day at Kololo Independence Grounds in Kampala.
Lower-level (primary and secondary) schools are scheduled to re-open at the beginning of next year (2022) after their closure due to the coronavirus pandemic. Before that, the higher-level education/tertiary institutions, including universities, are set to reopen at the start of November.
The Senior One and Senior Five selection exercise got underway on Tuesday, with education minister and First Lady Janet Museveni opening it.
At the same function, attended by education officials and headteachers from across the country, Mrs Museveni also commissioned the third round of home study materials.
