Associate Prof. Simon Anguma Katrin, while addressing the media at the university ahead of the graduation, on Monday, November 24, said each year, the university is growing from strength to strength.

Prof. Katrini recounted the humble start of the University in 2014 with only 87 students in one faculty to the current 3,143 students in the six faculties with 34 different academic programs.

Anguma added that, in the next five years, the university intends to introduce four more faculties with a total of 90 academic programs, with at least 7,000 students expected.

For the 8th graduation, the vice chancellor says, for the first time, the university is graduating over 450 students with many diplomas and masters programs presenting grandaunts for the first time.

“Our inaugural graduation ceremony was held in 2017 with only 77 graduates.
