Govt suspends new admission rules for health institutes

Under the now-suspended rules, only top-performing Senior Four students would have been eligible for certificate programmes in nursing, midwifery and allied health training institutions. 

Surveys conducted nationwide indicated that the stricter entry standards had led to a sharp decline in student enrollment at many institutions. (New Vision/Files)
