The memorial service of bush war hero Eriya Kategaya is being held at the Kololo Ceremonial Grounds in Kampala city.
The March 5, 2025, event is also expected to see the commissioning of Reflection of Resilience, a book written by Kategaya's widow, Joan. The book is a memoir of courage, uncertainty and survival.
The event has been graced by President Yoweri Museveni, First Lady and Minister of Education and Sports Janet, several ministers and high profile individuals.
