Roza Dymz, former Rozaho Bistro in Upper Kololo, a Kampala suburb, was like a hotspot for celebrities from various spheres of art, fashion, business and anything that can make anyone famous during its grand opening on Friday, April 26, 2024. 

From musicians, media personalities, socialites, business moguls to the young and hip revellers, they lit up the atmosphere around that area. 

From as early as 5:00pm, guests started strolling in, clad in visibly expensive apparel, wearing sophisticated cologne, and basically looking befitting for the event. 

The guests were led by business mogul and proprietor of Roza Dymz, part of a chain of restaurants around Kampala - Ron Kawamara and his wife Cynthia Tumwine. These ushered in other notable guests such as Talent Africa Group boss Aly Alibhai and his wife Sylvia Alibhai, rapper Navio and actor Matthew Nabwiso, as well as media personalities MC Kats, Douglas Lwanga and Denzel Mwiyeretsi. 

Because the night was more about fun, party and celebrations, Sheila Salta - the host of the launch - did not waste anytime for the already hyped up crowd.

With the help of DJs Alisha and Slick Stuart, the ever adrenaline-filled Salta 'set the bar on fire', getting the rest of the crowd on their feet. 

From fresh Afrobeats and piano sets that could effortlessly work up a young audience, to sets that even older generations could relate to, Slick Stuart showcased quite the mastery of Deejaying. 

In the interlude, the proprietors of Roza Dymz thanked the crowd for turning up in large numbers, offering support from the very first day. 

Back to the music, the highlight of the night - Vinka - took to stage at a few minutes past 10:00pm, to basically just crown an already hot night for the crowd. 

Vinka chipped in with her freshest bangers - Bailando, All Over You and Believe - before she performed her latest single - Nza Gukunda. Those who still had some energy reserved could not help but break a leg during Vinka's performances. 

For the rest, her performance was enjoyed calmly, sipping on some cold cocktails. In the end, the launch of Roza Dyms was grandeur - one would say.
