Uganda shilling strengthens on Thursday

Money markets were fairly liquid, with and overnight yields between the 12.00% - 12.50%. There is no government securities auction scheduled for the next week. 

Absa traders said there was “limited activity on the demand side” and flows from a non-governmental organization (NGO) during the session.
