Uganda nears exit from FATF Grey List - BOU

Tumubweine Twinemanzi, the executive director in charge of supervision at BOU confirmed that an onsite examination by authorities is expected, with the expectation of a final decision on removal from the grey list at the next FATF plenary in February 2024. 

The Bank of Uganda (BOU) has announced that the government has taken all measures required by Financial Action Task Force (FATF) for the country to exit the grey list.
