“We are not only opening our new head office but here to celebrate 40 years of Bank of Africa since it was established in Africa. The investment that you see is a testament to Bank of Africa's strategic vision for the future. As the financial landscape in Uganda evolves, our commitment to innovation and efficiency remains unwavering.”

Isiko said the new facility has been designed to enhance capabilities, foster team collaboration, and ensure readiness for future banking technologies.

“The investment in this infrastructure also underscores Bank of Africa's dedication to tailoring our services to meet and exceed our clients' expectations with service delivery," he added.

Kobena Andah, the regional director for Anglophone subsidiaries within the BOA Group said commended the design of the new facility.

“This state-of-the-art facility is a major improvement from the former head office. The old building served Bank of Africa very well from 2006 when the bank had 50 supporting staff and only five branches. However, with the impressive growth of the bank, it couldn’t contain the overall 200 staff who had to administer 32 branches.”

Amine Bouabid, chief executive officer of BOA Group said the building’s extensive space will a better working space for staff as well as bank clients.

“This new headquarters that we are celebrating is about 400,000 square meters and gathers all the bank's business units. It translates to the long-term commitment of our group to develop its presence in Uganda and become an international platform for operators in Uganda and foreign investors,” Bouabid said.
