In a defining moment for the continent, Africa’s leading professional bodies in marketing, technology, and supply chain are coming together under one powerful banner conference named Africa Rising.
According to a press release about this new development issued on Monday, February 23, 2026, by Lunice Johnston Communications, on March 16, 2026, a live broadcast from Lusaka in Zambia will mark the official launch of three landmark conferences hosted by the African Marketing Confederation (AMC), Technology Information Confederation Africa (TICON Africa), and African Supply Chain Confederation (ASCON).
This is more than a ceremonial signing; it is a continental statement of intent. From 23–25 September 2026, professionals from across Africa and beyond will gather in Livingstone, Zambia, to exchange ideas, shape policy conversations, and strengthen the networks that power Africa’s economic transformation.
Currently, Africa stands at a crossroads defined by demographic strength, digital acceleration, and expanding regional trade, yet sustainable growth depends on more than ambition. It demands collaboration across the very systems that drive economies forward.
By launching the 2026 conferences jointly, AMC, TICON Africa, and ASCON are signalling a new era of coordinated leadership.
The live launch event will formalise their partnership, unveil strategic goals for September, and introduce themes, speakers, and senior stakeholders who will shape the conversations ahead.
For Africa’s professionals, institutions, and policymakers, this early engagement sets the tone for meaningful participation.
The launch will also act as an invitation to professionals to engage early. It will further help institutions to align their efforts, as well as support Africa’s thinkers and builders to rise together.
Under the theme “Africa Rising”, these three bodies are affirming a shared commitment to unified action, strengthened professional networks, and progress grounded in skills, innovation, and integrity.
