Government waives sh5 trillion in taxes — report
The largest share of the tax exemptions was registered in the area of international trade

In an effort to attract investments in strategic sectors, the Government waived sh5 trillion in the financial year 2019/20 in taxes, translating into 3.64% of Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
