Bank of Uganda’s new cheque limits comes into effect
A notice issued by Bank of Uganda Governor Emmanuel Mutebile stated the cheque limit for the Uganda shilling will change from sh20m to sh10m, for the Kenya shilling it is reduced from sh600 to sh300m.

The Bank of Uganda has cut by nearly half the limits on the value for cheque payments to promote e-payments which come into effect next week.
