'Adungu Tale' musical play premieres at National Theatre

Kasamba said he organised the shows at the National Theatre to showcase his talent and also use the proceeds to support the construction of a primary school in Kakiri, Wakiso district.

A musical stage play by the UK-based Bantu Arts director Steven Kasamba premiered at the National Theatre on Thursday, May 1, 2024.

The play is a platform for promoting African heritage through music, dance and drama.

Kasamba has been doing shows of this nature in the different parts of the UK. 
 
He said he organised the shows at the National Theatre to showcase his talent and also use the proceeds to support the construction of a primary school in Kakiri, Wakiso district.

The shows will run between May 1 and May 6, with two shows every day.

Kasamba's production team has invited school children to watch the plays.
