Sticking to natural hair on your wedding day? Melanitis is here to help

Nakasi says the bride has to use the right products for their natural hair to stand out on their D-day. This includes having the right oil, hair treatments and conditioners.

Unlike in the past when brides used to spend countless hours in the salon preparing their hair for the big day, today it is different.

Many brides are increasingly choosing natural hair over wigs. But choosing natural hair should not mean, no investment into it. Natural hair needs to be styled, but in what way

At the Bride and Groom expo, natural hair experts are answering these questions.

At the expo, natural hair is fully catered for with a wide variety of exhibitors dealing in that category.

Edna Angela Nakasi, the proprietor of Melanitis, a company that deals in natural hair products in Kampala says they are at the event to show showgoers they can shine on their D-Day with natural hair.

“It all starts with the care you give it,” Nakasi says.

“Just like you tend to have smooth skin, so should you with your hair.”

Nakasi says the bride has to use the right products for their natural hair to stand out on their D-day. This includes having the right oil, hair treatments and conditioners.

Though some people think natural hair should be left in its state, Nakasi says one can make hair come alive with the correct products.

If you are a prospective bride or you simply want to know how best you can take care of your hair, make your way to the Bride and Expo at the Uganda Manufacturers Association (UMA) multi-purpose hall in Kampala.

At the expo, you will find different exhibitors who will show you what to do this weekend.
