On Tuesday, July 11, Publics Africa in association with Brand Leadership Group SA will host Brand Africa in Kampala, Uganda for the global release of the 13th annual Brand Africa | Africa’s Best Brands – Uganda. 

The announcement will be held live in Kampala at a high-level media conference at Golden Tulip Canaan Hotel, from 09h00 – 12h00. 

According to Publics Africa Communications Officer Joseph Kanyamunyu, Thebe Ikalafeng, the founder and Chairman of Brand Africa, from South Africa will organize and lead the launch.

David Bahati, the State Minister for Industry will preside over the release of the 13th annual ranking of the best brands in Uganda and East Africa as Guest of Honour.

“During this ceremony, we will announce the results detailing how African brands and businesses reacted and repositioned themselves, which brands have retained, improved or lost their status among African consumers after which, a thought leader’s panellist’s discussion will ensue live on TV,” Kanyamunyu said.

He noted that the research is conducted by GeoPoll, the world’s leading mobile surveying platform, with strategic analysis, insights and ranking conducted by Kantar, the world’s leading data, insights and consulting company and Brand Leadership Group, Africa’s foremost branding, strategic communication and intellectual property advisory firm.

 Lorraine Tukahirwa, the Marketing Manager Vision Group, has revealed that the New Vision has come on board as the media partner for the 13th annual Africa’s best brands - the prestigious report that presents the most comprehensive ranking of the most admired brands across the African continent.

“We are delighted to be in partnership for the announcement of Uganda’s and Africa’s Best Brands,” she said.
