Oscars yes, but let’s pay equal attention to things that affect survival of human species

We cannot and should not bury our collective heads in the sand by ignoring issues, chalking them as someone else’s problems. We must stay focused on making certain things better — we should spend more time for instance talking about removing pollution from the ocean than about which actress wore the best costume on the red carpet.
