Maintenance of Kampala City roads
About 29% of Kampala’s road network is in relatively good condition based on International Roughness Index (road unevenness) with 71% in fair to poor condition. Most of Kampala’s roads are in unmaintainable condition and require a complete overhaul.

The Uganda Road Fund (URF) was set up by an Act of Parliament in 2008.
The Road Fund is responsible for financing the routine and periodic maintenance of all public
