Let’s have a climate-friendly Martyrs Day
The influence of religious leaders albeit carries a significant impact on their flock. Martyrs Day preparations, however, do not go far enough to heed the sustainability message even where scriptures cited from books such as Genesis depict the Garden of Eden as a bountiful paradise where God commands man to ‘work on it and take care of it’. Article 39 of the Constitution provides that “every Ugandan has a right to a clean and healthy environment”.
