Continue to seek holiness, Msgr Kalumba tells Christians

Msgr Kalumba explained that the resurrection of Jesus restored hope and life, which is why Christians too are expected to resurrect from their sinful ways and lead a pious life.

Presiding over the Easter prayers at Christ the King Church Kampala, the church's parish-priest, the Rt Rev Gerald Kalumba asked the Christian faithful to embrace a new life-style characterised by the virtues of love, charity, human solidarity, justice, self-respect and respect for others
.

He explained that the resurrection of Jesus restored hope and life, which is why Christians too are expected to resurrect from their sinful ways and lead a pious life.

"The Lenten season we have just concluded has helped us to be more repentant. After the resurrection of our Lord, we must not slide back into our sinful ways. We must carry forward the good works of charity, piety, solidarity, generosity," Kalumba said.
