Alcohol consumption rates are increasing, what are the associated health risks?
Uganda’s alcohol consumption rate among people aged less than 15 years is 12.5 litres and 25.8 litres per person per year among those aged 15 years and above. This consumption rate in Uganda is much higher than that of the African region which averages at 6.3 litres, and global average at 6.18 litres per person per year.
