Genetically modified cassava could cross from Kenya into Uganda

Uganda currently does not have any substantive law to guide how GMOs can be cultivated in Uganda despite fruitful years of research on GM crops that include bananas, cassava, maize, rice and potato by researchers from the National Agriculture Research Organization (NARO).
