Forest watcher checks illegal activities in West Nile

The forests have come under attack from the very population they feed. This has, on the one hand, led to illegal activities such as illegal charcoal burning. 

The local people depend on the forest to collect firewood for cooking and to provide power to local enterprises like brewing. (File Photo)
