Farmers embrace new cassava varieties

Dr Christopher Omong, the NARO research scientist and head of Root Crop Programme says the new cassava varieties when cultivated with good agronomic practice and weed control, can produce more than 30 tonnes per hectare compared to the local cassava varieties.
