Expert warns on changing L.Victoria colour

“Blue water is generally okay, but green water indicates a problem. Water colouration can be categorised into blue, grey and green water. The grey water is the waste water. If it is not treated well, and gets to the surface of water bodies, such as Lake Victoria, it can make the water turn green. The green colouration is due to the microscopic plants or algae,” Idrakua explained.
