This edition promises nothing less. All the trainings starting Friday will be carried out by experts and will tackle a variety of subjects from dating, marrying, and getting children to building a home.

The sessions, which are always the highlight of the day, involve marriage counsellors, Ssengas and Kojja and health experts.

During the visit to the UMA showgrounds, many exhibitors showed that the wedding industry is very profitable. Looking at the tents, you cannot fail to admire the innovations, creativity and beauty.

Exhibitors speak out

“We are sure this year is going to be a success. Last year we did not participate in the expo because people were still scared of Covid 19 but this year, there are no restrictions, and people are excited,” Elizabeth Namutebi, the head of decorations at Flex Impressions, said.

“I have decided to take part in this year’s expo because most of my friends who have been participating told me that they get value for money and clients,” Julia Okot, the manager of Jules Consilio, an interior company said.

Okot also noted that as someone who is into backyard gardening, she has been exhibiting at the gardener’s expo but she was not making money because of the competition at such expos.

“This is going to be a good place for me to sell my flowers and designs because there are different exhibitors with different products so I will easily make profits,” Okot said.

Rogers Kisitu from Bloven Cakes is also excited about this year’s expo, saying that since January he has been waiting for this day.

“This is the biggest fashion show in the country, which business person, especially in the cake business would miss out on this clientele,” Kisitu said.
