Four counters traded during Tuesday’s session and recorded a total turnover of sh12.8m at the Uganda Securities Exchange (USE) according to data from Crested Capital.

Stanbic led in turnover with sh9.6m, followed by Umeme with sh2.6m. Airtel Uganda moved sh481,000, and MTN exchanged sh151,000.

On share price movement, Airtel Uganda added 0.26% to sh94.00 from the previous close, Stanbic was up by 0.09% to sh32.03, MTN lost 0.32% to sh170, while Umeme traded at sh400.

The USE All Share Index (ALSI) fell 0.15% to 871.21, while the C11, Crested’s local companies’ index closed 0.01% lower at 98.67.
