Turnover traded at the Uganda Securities Exchange (USE) fell by 52.31% to sh457m from sh958m dealt the previous trading day.

According to Crested Capital, six counters registered activity and traded 22.59 million shares relative to 29.48 million shares moved on Monday.

Bank of Baroda (BOBU) dealt the most value in turnover worth sh281.4m at sh15, followed by Stanbic with sh114.5m at sh32.50. MTN traded sh44.5m, while its price gained 3.00% to sh169.95.

Umeme moved sh16.3m at sh400, while Airtel Uganda, and NIC Holdings (NIC) exchanged about sh240,00 at sh96, and sh1,950 at sh6.50 respectively.

The USE All Share Index (ALSI) was up 0.25% to 877.08, while the C11, Crested’s local companies’ index rose 0.99% to 99.58.
