Children need to get ready to get into the groove for a day packed with a full range of activities that have something for everyone to enjoy, whether you're 1 year old or 60 years old.

Meanwhile, lots of activities have lined up musical performances from celebrated artists, Father Christmas, bouncing castles, face painting, board games, and swimming, among others.

Other activities include talent search, and mentorship talks and children are to walk away prizes including cash and other goodies.

On Monday, a team from Vision Group started visiting schools where they found children gearing up for the end-of-year party.

The team was started at St. Benedict Nursery and Primary School Nansana Kabulengwa, where they were warmly welcomed by the pupils and teachers.

There, pupils shared their favorite sections of the magazine and were given flyers to take home to their parents to ask them to take them to the festival.

Also, the school choir was found practicing live bands so that they could deliver a lifetime performance at the festival.

From there, the team that was in the company of Indomie Noodles, one of the sponsors of the event went to Amazing Grace School Nansana and later Viviz Mukubira Junior School Kyebando.

At the two schools, the team interacted with pupils who were also eagerly waiting for the festival. These answered questions about the Toto magazine and Indomie Noodles and won gifts like Festival pins, and noodles among others.

Why children should not miss

Benedict Kiwanuka Ngaanda the team leader at St Benedict Nursery and Primary School Nansana explained that the festival is a good place to have children relax their minds after a long term of class work at school.

“When children go out, they broaden their minds and get a chance to learn new things including skills from exhibitors,” he added.

Salome Atwiine an administrator at Amazing Grace Schools Nansana the festival is a great opportunity for children to get exposure adding that many do not get a chance to move out of their communities.

She said at the festival children can get friends of substance that they can learn from and may seek help from as they grow up in life.
