MONTCEAU-LES-MINES - The 100-meter-high cooling tower and 140-meter-high chimney of a former coal-fired power station in eastern France collapsed after being razed using explosives.
Operated from 1917 to the end of 2015, the Lucy power station has been undergoing conversion since 2018, with dismantling and decontamination work.
