Burundi First Lady, Angeline Ndayishimiye, on Monday visited the Children's Surgical hospital in Entebbe.

Current inpatients at the facility include 37 Burundian children undergoing different kinds of pediatric services, government has revealed.

"We had a tour of the facility and interacted with the health workers offering specialised pediatric services," Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng stated in a post on X social media (formerly Twitter).

Without details, Aceng's posted with several pictures of Mrs Ndayishimiye and the children added, “all services offered for the children are free of charge."

Details about the children, ailments or when they arrived in Uganda were not immediately available.
