Kawempe North member of parliament Mohammed Ssegirinya's relatives and supporters have considered organising a fundraising drive to raise money for his medical bills in the Netherlands, where he is right now.

These led by his aide Alex Luwemba said that they are not happy with parliament for not extending any financial support to Ssegirinya as it has always done to other MPs who fall sick and go abroad for treatment.

Ssegirinya was flown to the Netherlands a month ago to seek further treatment under the guidance of the health workers here.

However, Chris Obore, the parliament spokesperson, said that Ssegirinya did not inform the medical board before he was flown out for treatment.
