The Police spokesperson for West Nile, Josephine Angucia has cautioned boda boda riders against accepting drinks and food from strangers but rather concentrate on their business.
This follows an incident in which an unidentified man was on Friday found unconscious after consuming suspected intoxicated alcohol at Orsgard Liquor hub in Arua City.
It is suspected that an unknown person he came with, abandoned him in that state and disappeared with his motorcycle.
Anastasia Tiko, a waitress at Osgard Pub in Arua City, confirms serving the bodaboda rider together with his passenger but says whatever happened, she knows nothing about it.
Barely two hours after this incident, another man, also a boda boda rider became a victim of theft by a trick in Arua city after he was given water containing some suspected sedative contents.
The suspect after realising that the bodaboda man was unconscious made away with his motorcycle.
