Pushkar Sharma’s all-round display inspired the Kutchi Tigers to a six-wicket victory over Nyakasura Sunday at Entebbe, as the leaders stretched their advantage atop the standings of the UCA Premier League to four points.

Sharma claimed 3/22 in five overs as the Tigers bowled out Nyakasura for 89 in their allotted 40 overs to set up an easy dash to victory. Sharma returned to score a team-best 35 off 31 as the Tigers roared to a six-wicket win.

Hasin Ashani and Neelakash Tambe also scored 18 and 15 runs for Kutchi, who have won all five of their games so far.

Nyakasura’s Fortunate Ajuna led all scorers with 42 runs, with Mathew Musinguzi adding 12. Ghanshyam Ashani took 2/38 from six overs. Joseph Baguma and Keith Aman took one-wicket apiece for Nyakasura.

Kutchi lead the standings with 10 points, four ahead of the Ceylon Lions.
