Zari’s first attempt at marrying rich was 2011 when she asked for 300 head of cattle from the late Ivan Ssemwanga – 100 for each of their three children. The high-profile introduction ceremony however, never materialised into a wedding. Ssemwanga passed on in 2017. In 2023, Shakib gifted her only a Quran. So Shakib married rich.
