I always attend the Harvest Money Expo to learn best agricultural practices. Most members of the public think the only job of the institution is to imprison people, but we come to this expo to exhibit our products.

We want to show the public that we do not only take people to prison, but we add value to them. The Harvest Money expo is a one-stop learning centre, so people should come and take advantage of it.

There are many things we see, but we do not know their uses; so when you attend the expo you benefit a lot from it.

I came to the expo with my young brother to see different activities arried out in different agricultural sectors. We want to learn about farming without soil, where farmers just plant using water.

We also want to venture into agribusiness to help other farmers get to know the benefits of farming.

Farming is the best thing that has ever happened to this Country because it has generated alot of revenue and onr can develop in farming.

I would like to be an agro-prenuer. When you visit different regions , you keep hearing that youth have potential in farming but no body acts. People fear about going to farming, I am encouraging my fellow youth to join farming because when you are educated you can reap alot. Come and attend the Expo there is a lot to learn.

I am a farmer. I have over 80 acres of land in Mukono on which I have planted trees. I keep goats and chicken. This is my first time to come to the Harvest Money expo, and so far, I am impressed because I have got a supplier for my local chicken from Soroti.

People should attend the expo because it is a good experience. The expo has modern technologies, agricultural feeds and everything about agriculture. I have really liked what I have seen and I am coming back tomorrow.

I never get opportunities to come for such expos because I am always at work, but this time I decided to attend all the three days to get knowledge of best farming practices.

I want to engage in poultry and bees-keeping. Yesterday, the Katikiro of Buganda said the expo has good tractors that can help some of us who are practicing small scale farming, so I have come to see some of those tractors. I am tired of farming in the traditional way.

I am a farmer from Mukono, but whenever I harvest my crops, I do get the amount of money equivalent to what I invest in. So, I have come to learn and get skills. I want to use this expo to get market for my goods and I know I will get them.

I have knowledge on farming and I keep poultry. I also grow maize. I want to learn how to make manure out of poultry waste so that I can use it in my maize farm and make big money.

I am passionate about farming and when I saw the adverts about the, I decided to come and acquire modern farming skills because food security starts at home.

These days people have failed to look after themselves because of the high cost of living. They sell food they should consume themselves to get money. I want to learn how not to fall in that category.

This is my second time at the Expo and I like everything exhibited. I always get challenges on the farm and I do not know how to fix them. I have interacted with the experts during the training and I have been helped.

Last year when I came, I attended the trainings and got knowledge about rearing pigs, I have used the tips and I am now earning money.

I came to get knowledge about growing mushrooms and rearing goats. I want to start keeping goats on a large scale. So far I have 10 goats and I want to go commercial this year.

I first learnt about the Harvest Money Expo on Twitter through the Vision Group Chief Executive Officer’s Twitter handle. As a student who is interested in farming, I have decided to come to get skills.
