POLITICS | PARLIAMENT | MP ZAAKE 

KAMPALA - Parliament's Committee on Rules, Discipline and Privileges has adjourned investigations into the alleged misconduct of Mityana Municipality MP Francis Zaake to February 23rd of this month.

The committee was expected to kick start their investigations into the matter after the sittings had been adjourned when Zaake snubbed the sitting in December.

However, the legislator, Zaake sent his lawyer Erias Lukwago to represent him and requested the committee to accord them two more weeks as his client was still abroad receiving treatment.

Lukwago also assured the committee they did not snub the committee as reported in the media but the notice from the clerk required them to appear the following day and they were ready to make it.

Lukwago also requested the committee to provide them with more information on what exactly his client is being accused of.
