What a blessed day in the office for the Ugandan sprinter Tom Dradiga who competed in the Djibouti Athletics Championships Game on Friday!

A dominant relentless run helped Dradiga wheel –up, above and beyond his rivals in his favourite 800m field to clinch a gold medal in a star-studded fast race.

The Ugandan impressively sped off the course to stop the clock at 1min, 50sec, 09sec (there are not enough better finishes out there).

The skilled speed monster was trailed by Ali Hasaan Idow who came home second to win silver while Ethiopia’s Kasahun Bekele was only good enough for bronze.

Dradiga is simply unstoppable, formidable, precise, and strong in the race.

The Uganda Wildlife Authority – UWA Athletics club versatile short and middle distance star has now won three of his last events in all competitions in this new season.

Last month, Dradiga staggeringly ran to gold in the 2K mixed–sex race national cross country championship.

He followed it up with a decent victorious finish at Mandela National Stadium during the first national trial by Uganda Athletics Federation.

The man from the West Nile sub-region is enjoying some insanely red–hot form to the delight of one of his club coaches, Edwin Kinalya.

“Tom is sensational. He is looking sharp and composure mentally as well. This might end his season to shine,” Kinalya remarked.
