It is aimed at raising funds to facilitate the purchase of equipment for a community-based health centre in the Makindye Division.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, the run was organised virtually with people running in their different neighbourhoods and sharing their videos and pictures on social media platforms with the hashtag #BSKRun2021.

Since its inception, the Community run has supported the purchase of maternity equipment to KCCA Kisugu Health Centre III (worth UGX. 8,900,000), and Wentz Medical Centre Kawuku IV (worth UGX. 13,000,000) and Nsambya clinic (worth UGX15,000,000).
