Singer Ykee Benda has finally responded to the allegations fellow singer, Bruno K made against him in March this year that he snatched his girlfriend of six years, nearly reducing them to blows. 

Ykee Benda responded with a brashness that he indeed snatched Bruno K’s girlfriend and is not apologetic because she didn’t indicate she was dating anybody at the time.   

“It is true I snatched. A woman is not yours if she has not said she is. If I come up to a girl now, ask if she is single and she says yes, is she yours? You can’t blame a man, you blame the woman,” said Ykee Benda. 

The Mpaka Records boss also noted that he has no problems with the Faridah singer, suggesting he did nothing wrong. 

“I have no problems with him because I didn’t wrong him. If there is anyone with a problem, it should be him. I have been seeing him battling with the label heads (Black Market Records) and felt bad. Because he is a great artist. I have nothing against him but I took the woman. It is true,” he added. 

It should be noted that Bruno K said Ykee Benda knew he was dating this girl but proceeded to also ask her out, when he confronted the Munakampala singer over the matter when he ran into them, a fight nearly broke out. 

He stated that it was at that point that he lost all the respect he had for Ykee Benda and learnt later that the relationship lasted less than a month.
