The Police in Rukungiri district has launched investigations to ascertain the circumstances under which an angry woman bit her husband's testicles.

The Kigezi Regional Police Spokesperson, Elly Maate, identified the suspect as Vasita Tukamuhebwa. He also identified the victim as Robert Kagurisi, 46, who is currently admitted at Devine Medical Clinic in Kikarara.

The incident occurred at Rwesigiro village, located in Kikarara Parish in Bwambara sub-county, in Rukungiri district, on Saturday night at around 1:00am.

Preliminary Police investigations indicate that Tukamuhebwa got pissed off when her husband came back while drunk and refused to eat her food, in addition to abusing and beating her up.

Consequently, the two engaged in a terrible fight which prompted the wife to bite Kagurisi's testicles before she fled to an unknown destination.

"The couple has been engaged in domestic violence many times despite the intervention of Police," said Maate.

It should be remembered that barely a week ago, an angry woman picked a knife and cut off her husband's manhood, accusing him of marrying a second wife.

Fortunately, Police later arrested the suspect from her hideout.
