WOMAN MP MUBENDE DISTRICT

Born on 20 January 1986 to Hindia Mpuuga and Norah Mbabazi of Mubende district, Nakazibwe is a laboratory scientist.

She attended primary school at Tiger Army Primary School, Mubende, completing in 1999.

She completed O’level at Kasenyi SS Mubende in 2003, where she was the headgirl and vice president Uganda National Students’ Association in Mubende district.

For A’level, Nakazibwe went to Christ the King Bulinda.

She has a diploma in medical laboratory science from Makerere Paramedical School Mulago (2008), a bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory sciences from Mbarara University of Science and Technology where she won a convocational award as the best student of 2012.

She is currently doing a master’s degree in public health at Uganda Martyrs University.

She served as a laboratory technologist at Mengo Hospital in 2008.

In 2009-2010, she worked with Integrated Community Based Initiative in Mubende and Kassanda districts, Uganda Virus Research Institute Medical and London School of Hygiene and Tropical  Medicine.

She is married to Andrew Abaasa.
