Excitement as Urban TV crew tours Soroti town

The leading youth television in Uganda, Urban Television, spent Monday in Soroti town meeting with youth and interacting with communities in the four divisions
.

A crew of Urban TV led by the station manager, Michael Owor, combed the streets of Soroti town amidst ululations from the youth.

“This is the only station that has given the youth a voice. I love it because all its programming’s are pro youth,” an excited Mary Atim said.

Business in Soroti town came to a standstill on Monday morning as boda boda riders clad in Urban Tv t-shirts rode along the streets celebrating the arrival of Urban Tv crew  in Soroti.

The crew visited Eastern, Northern, Western, and Central divisions and nearby sub-counties in Soroti districts like Arapai, Gweri and Asuret.

“We want to interact with our viewers.  Two months since Urban TV went on air in Teso we have been receiving feedback and that is the reason we are here today,” said Owor.
