Glo Premier League-Accra, Ghana

Liberty Professionals v Asante Kotoko

UGANDAN left back Joseph Ochaya will return to Asante Kotoko's first team against Liberty Professionals in the Glo Premier League game in Accra, Ghana today.

It will be Ochaya's second game since he returned to the side after guiding Uganda Cranes to the CECAFA crown.

Uganda won the regional crown in Kampala to stretch their record to 13 wins.

Ochaya (inset) last played for the Ghanaian giants in the 3-2 victory over Real Tamale United on December 30.

“I am happy about the trust the coach has in me and now it is up to me to prove myself,” Ochaya told New Vision Sport on telephone after a training session yesterday.

Kotoko are keen to tame the Liberty side in the annual competition.

The Kototo side, currently in 7th position on 23 points, will move to second if they secure victory.

Ochaya's team is seven points behind table leaders Madeama SC after 14 games played.

The player signed for Kotoko last year.
