Take it or leave it, the Pemba Warriors and Betway Power are the new teams to beat in the 2017 National Basketball League.
The teams concluded their first round of the campaign in first and second place with a 10-1 and 10-2 record respectively to stay league favourites.
In the opening game of the second tonight at YMCA, the two teams meet in a highly anticipated game.
Vowing to do it the "Warriors' style" Pemba's head coach Ronnie Mutebi told New vision that he has confidence in his team to produce a positive results.
"It is going to be a tight game but I trust my team to play like the Warriors that we are," said Mutebi.
Mutebi also believes that the Warriors are still halfway the rebuilding process, but that they are ready to continue from where they stopped.
In the women's category, the KCCA Leopards face the JKL Lady Dolphins.
